A Bit About Me

Hi Beautiful Soul,

I’m Roselle - an artist from Greater Manchester with a deep love for texture, nature, and those little moments of quiet magic that stop us in our tracks.

My work tends to be more abstract, with soft touches of semi-realism — often inspired by trees, flowers, and the unseen beauty that flows into everyday life. I’m drawn to texture because it brings depth — just like people do. I love creating pieces that make you pause, breathe a little deeper, and feel something unexpected. Almost like you could fall into them and stay there a while.

Art has always been my safe space. I grew up in a very traditional, religious home — no TV, a lot of structure — so I turned to drawing and creating as a way to explore, express, and escape. As life progressed, I lost my creative spark for a while, until health challenges and motherhood brought me to a new kind of stillness… one that eventually led me right back to painting, but with a much fuller heart this time.

The turning point? A gift I made for my sister. Two paintings I created for her birthday, inspired by her love of peacocks. I was nervous to give them to her — but when she opened them, she cried. Good tears. That moment changed everything. She felt what I felt when I painted them, and that connection is something I’ve been chasing — and sharing — ever since.

I paint for people who want more than just something pretty on the wall. I paint for the feelers, the dreamers, the ones who love a little soul in their surroundings. My clients tell me my work feels peaceful, emotional, even spiritual at times — like it holds something personal for them, even when they can’t quite put it into words.

If you’re someone who craves beauty that goes a bit deeper, who loves meaningful pieces with presence and energy, I think you’ll feel right at home here.

My studio’s always open in spirit — come on in.
