I \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ecreated it because of how mandala painting makes me feel.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA few years ago I painted my very first mandala.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI expected to enjoy creating something beautiful but what resulted was so much more than that.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat I didn't expect was the overwhelming sense of calm it gave me. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eEverything else seemed to just disappear, while I quietened my mind naturally, not forced. The world around me slowed right down, and I wasn’t worrying about tomorrow or going over what yesterday brought. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI was completely present and ‘in the moment’.  In \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003efact, I remember feeling quite sad when I finished it. Somewhere along the way it stopped being about the beautiful finished piece. I \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ehold my hands up and admit I still make mistakes.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSometimes I place a dot where I didn't mean to. And yes...every now and then I still put a dot completely in the wrong place! The really lovely thing is, I've learned not to have a meltdown over it anymore. I'll show you how to rescue those little moments too, because believe me we will all have them!😊\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSometimes a colour doesn't work quite as I'd imagined, and that’s ok, because the difference is that now I’ve learned not to panic.
